MG Renewables is a specialist installer company dedicated to the renewable energy sector and strives to deliver sustainable energy saving systems, as an alternative to conventional energy sources. Established in 2006 we offer a complete design, supply and installation service for solar photovoltaic (PV) panels, solar thermal, ground & air source heat pumps and bio-mass systems.

We are an MCS (Micro generation Certification Scheme) accredited company offering an expert and professional service across the UK. With over 20 staff across our two UK offices (Nottingham & Perth), we pride ourselves on delivering a high class and professional service. Our portfolio includes domestic, commercial and public sector projects. Having recently completed the UK's biggest commercial solar thermal project at Nottingham Trent University, we are able to handle projects of all sizes.

We provide a full design, supply and installation service or any part of it to suit the customers' needs and provide a free no obligation survey and quote for all types of projects. All of our installers are accredited and constantly updated on new products and techniques which ensure continued learning.

Company Philosophy: With dwindling fossil fuel supplies and erratic pricing of domestic fuels, renewable energy is a viable and efficient solution to the energy problem that we are all facing. We also believe that just as important as reducing costs, is the opportunity for everyone to contribute to the reduction of CO2 levels, as a natural knock on effect of using our products.

Company History:

• Established in 2006 by Martin Dowd & Gerry Kennedy to meet the growing demand for renewable technologies. 

• Gained MCS accreditation status 2010. 

• Company grows to 20 staff to cope with increased demand for Solar (PV). 

• 2011 passed the 1000 install mark. 

• MG Renewables Ltd portfolio includes domestic, commercial and public sector projects. As of March 2011 installed the largest commercial Solar Thermal project in the country. 

• Move to new premises April 2011 to cope with demand. 

• Awarded IWA Merit Award for 99% customer satisfaction.
